FLOOREXPO ANNOUNES THE WINNERS OF ITS "BODY FOR LIFE" CHALLENGE
MARIETTA, GA, March 15, 2006-'Physical fitness before mental fitness' is more than a motto; it is a key value for FloorExpo-America's largest finishing contractor network. To encourage others towards a healthier lifestyle, FloorExpo invited all member companies, member company employees, supply partners, and corporate employees to take the 2005 "Body-for-Life Corporate Challenge."
FloorExpo's Body-for-Life Corporate Challenge was a 12-week healthy living contest based on the proven principles of the best-selling book Body-for-Life. The kickoff began at FloorExpo's convention in September 2005 with words of encouragement from the national 1998 Body-for-Life Challenge Champion, Kelly Adair.
Adair's inspiring example motivated 122 people to complete FloorExpo's 12-week fitness challenge. Individual and team progress was measured, weighed and recorded with before and after photos. FloorExpo presented awards to the winners during its annual cocktail party at Surfaces 2006.
"We extend our congratulations to all challengers taking our 12-week challenge," says David Gheesling, CEO of FloorExpo. "As a participant myself, I experienced the life-changing effects of the Body-for-Life program. Not only did it improve my physical health, it inspired a way of living that I plan to continue."
